Leigh Bess Boone was my first great love. She pushed me to work hard, have a vision, and inspired me to go after the things I wanted from life. She also drove me crazy, allowed my ego to grow unchecked, and taught me how to drink. In other words, she was the best kind of friend. Someone whose influence you can see running through your life like vibrant colors in a marble.

She passed into another life on April 11th, 2009. Not being their to celebrate her life and death is one of the greatest regrets I carry with me. I have sought to find a way to memorialize her impact on my life, and this podcast is meant to display one thing that we shared. For two years we co-hosted a radio show called InDigoM on KVRX (the student radio station for UT-Austin). It began as a collision of our strongest musical interests at that naive time. She brought down-tempo & trip-hop, I brought idm & post-rock. That radio program is one of my favorite memories of college/music/life, and I felt that trying to recreate that time through this mix would be a first step towards paying my respect to her.

While I hope you enjoy this, it's mostly for us.

Peace,
Trey
