| As an artist collective, Backporch Revolution encourages breaking down the artificial barriers that form around "band" identities, resulting in many side projects and other collaborations. Our first official compilation, Proud To Swim Home, was released after Hurricane Katrina to raise relief money for displaced musicians and pets, as well as call attention to the burgeoning underground electronic/experimental music scene in New Orleans that we helped foster. |
